Born in 1984 in Eskişehir, Ahmet Savran completed his primary, secondary and high school education in his hometown of Eskişehir. He graduated from Eskişehir Science High School in 2002 and came to İzmir for medical education in the same year. Having studied medicine at Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine between 2002-2008, Dr. Ahmet Savran received his Orthopedics specialization training from İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic between 2008-2014. During his orthopedic residency period, he was an observer at EMOT Hospital due to his interest in hand surgery from the first years. During this period, he was an "observer fellow" at the "Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center" and "Massachusetts General Hospital" of Harvard Medical School. Later, he worked for a short time at Kastamonu Taşköprü State Hospital for his compulsory service duty. He received the National Orthopedics "board" certificate during his Orthopedic Specialization period. He won the 2014 minor exam with a degree and started his minor specialization training in Hand Surgery at İzmir Katip Çelebi University Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. In addition to his national minor diploma, he passed the oral exam in Copenhagen with a degree and received the European Hand Surgery Diploma, which is one of the few in our country. Ahmet Savran, who completed his compulsory service as a Hand Surgery Specialist at Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, suffered from finger ruptures in the Aegean region during this period. Considering his services in the field, he was deemed worthy of the Doctor of the Year Award by the Ministry of Health. At the end of 5 years, he left his job at the hospital and opened his own private practice in İzmir. He still continues his profession within the OrthoMikro Team. He has authored many medical publications, translations and book chapters throughout his career. He still serves as a referee in many domestic and foreign journals. He speaks two foreign languages, English and German.
